Electronic Medical Records
Our electronic medical records (EMR) system is available to you through a secure web portal so you can download reports with full color microphotoscopy in PDF format at any time.
VIEW SERVICE DETAILSHeartland Pathology combines cutting-edge diagnostics with the benefits of local accessibility to our lab and pathologists. We are large enough to provide comprehensive service with a 24-48 hour turnaround, but intentionally small enough to remain flexible in response to our local medical community’s needs. You simply cannot find such a level of service in a large national or hospital lab.
Our Pathologists are all board certified in anatomic pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Our Pathologists have additional certifications in clinical pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology, and orthopedic pathology. Additionally, some pathologists have post graduate training in immunopathology and molecular pathology. We also perform a wide array of immunohistochemical testing in-house.
New cancer diagnoses or other clinical conditions with grave clinical consequences are reviewed often by at least two pathologists. If we are faced with a particularly rare or difficult diagnostic dilemma, we readily seek outside consultation from experts at such institutions as the Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson Cancer Center, GenPath, Bostwick Laboratories, the Cleveland Clinic, and University of Missouri-Kansas City.
